getting a majority of the vote is an important criteria in a democratic election. political forces in Burlington are trying to convince voters to return to a 40% threshold to elect the Mayor, in a bid to thwart a truly democratic process. I believe that to be the CEO of this city, at least 50% of the population needs to say that you are not the worst candidate. period. vote no on #5.
